Julie Murray

Julie Murray serves as Chief of Staff to Chancellor Girod and Vice Chancellor for External Affairs. In this role, she serves as an advisor to Chancellor Girod and oversees the offices of Civil Rights and Title IX; Economic Development; Internal Audit; Government Relations; and Jayhawk Community Partners.

Prior to joining the Office of the Chancellor, she had been executive director of external affairs and advancement in the KU School of Business. Before joining KU, she spent more than a decade as a litigation attorney, representing corporations and companies throughout Missouri and Kansas. She received her bachelor's degree and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Kansas.
